CBE Cares: Our Community Impact Program
CBE Cares is our corporate social responsibility program that reflects how we’ve always operated: grounded in the communities where we work, led by our own employees, and measured by what actually gets done.
Across our four delivery centers in Iowa, Tennessee, Manila, and Southwoods, CBE Cares coordinates volunteer programs, charitable giving, educational partnerships, and community outreach initiatives that leverage company resources and support the causes our teams care about most.
How CBE Cares Supports Our Communities
We describe CBE as a people-first organization. CBE Cares is an organizational commitment that provides our teams a coordinated way to give back to the communities where they live and work. CBE Cares features employee-led initiatives that pair company funding with employee volunteer hours, completed on paid company time, to support causes chosen by our local leaders and teams.
Our Four Pillars of Community Impact
Employee Volunteerism
CBE employees participate in company-supported volunteer programs throughout the year, ranging from local service days at community organizations to disaster response support and ongoing mentorship commitments. The company provides paid volunteer time so employees can give back without trading off personal or family time.
Charitable Giving & Matching
CBE Cares coordinates direct corporate giving to nonprofit partners selected by employees, as well as matching employee donations to qualifying organizations. The program prioritizes organizations serving the communities around our delivery centers.
Educational Partnerships
CBE partners with universities, community colleges, and workforce development programs in the communities around our offices. Most notably, we've partnered with the University of Northern Iowa, Austin Peay State University, and higher-education institutions in Metro Manila. These partnerships support scholarships, internships, career pathway programs, and training for first-time entrants to the workforce.
Community Outreach
CBE's local outreach programs are organized and led by our delivery centers. They range from food drives and school supply donations to holiday family support and partnerships with shelters, health clinics, and civic organizations. Each location shapes its outreach to reflect the needs of its local community.
Recognition for CBE’s Community Impact
CBE Cares has been externally recognized for its employer-led community impact model. The Outsourcing Impact Review named CBE Cares the 2025 Catalyst for Change Award winner, recognizing the program for driving community impact through employer-led programs.
This recognition sits alongside other external validation of our people-first operating model, including the DSM Register Top Workplace for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, InHerSight's recognition of CBE for female-friendly hiring practices, and the 2025 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for Ethics.
